OOC: who’s awake? Sound off!

Don’t care if I have never talked to you in my life, or we are only sorta friends. I am in need of your help right now. I’m working on a story. I have to have the ending done, edited, and recorded by tomorrow. My hero just walked in on some one about to sacrifice a small child. I need some help here… Anyone know anything about demon sacrifice? Because google is being a bitch, and there is nothing in my history of torture book. Just looking for some stuff that doesn’t sound like it fell out of a cheesy 80s movie.

*Gene runs over to Scrooge and hugs him

"Oh!  Y-you’re alive!  I was in your Bin!  The Beagle Boys!  The terrible Beagle Boys!"

"It’s alright, lad, I’m here.  Did you hear the music I did?"

"Y-yes…I did."

Hear music, see something… Scrooge you do like to get yourself in to trouble. *she looks over some books on a shelf*

Aye.  Maybe the ring shows visions of the future.  Come to think of it…I saw Goldie too with my family.

Don’t touch it Scrooge. Is how it gets you. Do not forget it did try to kill you. *takes a book down*

*Nods; So what’s the book say?

Lots of things… Nothing that helps. You said you have read something about the ring? Do you know what it is made of.

Scrooge McDuck was deep-sea diving in the Rhine River. Gene radioed him from above on their yacht, The Golden Goose II.

”Find anything?” Gene asked.

”Not yet, lad.”

As he swam into a cave and soon found the remnants of a wooden sign that said “Valholl.” Inside he also found a large…

*as if she could hear him, Magica poofs there* call for me Scrooge? *she looks around*

"Oh, um, yes, would you know anything about how this ring works?  It just froze the whole river here as you can see."

Come. Let’s bring it back to my cave. I can see it better there. I even may be able to fix it, if it just has a spell on it, or if it’s possessed.

Okay, poof us away, please.

*she does so, and they are all in her dark creepy looking work place* can I see the ring darling?

*Hands her the ring

*she looks it over* … You say it froze the water? Is that all?

Oh and…for a while I was hearing imaginary music and seeing visions of dead family

Really? *she sits the ring down on the table* is sounding like the ring wants you dead Scrooge. It is magic, but I can not tell if it is cursed… What kind of music?

Well I heard a bagpipe version of The Ring of Nibelung opera.  I thought the ring was only a myth, but I found an ancient Burgandese letter suggesting that may have actually existed.  I followed the clues and here it is.

*she slips the ring on, looking it over* hmm.

Well, what can you tell?

T, tell? *looks up* I am not sure. It doesn’t seem to effect me… Where is Gene? Perhaps we test it on him.

Gene: Coming

*Puts the ring on his finger

"Hands off me money!  Hands off me money!  Hands off me money!  It’s mine to dive around in like a porpoise!  And burrow through like a gopher!  And toss up and let hit me on the head!"

*takes the ring away from him magically* no more of that now. Thank you darling. *nods to Gene, and then looks back at Scrooge*
